Does Lakota Dental see children?
Yes. We see children of all ages.
How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
Most people should get their teeth cleaned every six months. If you have periodontal (gum) disease you may need to get your teeth cleaned more often to prevent the infection from recurring.
When should a child first be seen by a dentist?
The American Dental Association recommends a child first be seen by a dentist at age one.
Do the doctors at your office do cosmetic dentistry?
Yes, all of the doctors do cosmetic dentistry.
What are your office hours?
Monday: 7:30am-6pm
Tuesday: 7:30am- 8pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-8pm
Thursday: 7:30am-8pm
Friday: 7:30am-3pm
Saturday: 8am-2pm
What insurances do you accept?
We accept almost all insurance plans.
Do I have to file my own insurance?
No. Our office will file all insurance claims for you. Our front desk is highly trained in working with insurance companies so we can make your experience at Lakota Dental as easy as possible.
I see you have multiple dentists are your office. Will I be seen by the same dentist every time?
If you choose, you can see the same dentist every time you have an appointment.
If I have an emergency, how soon would it take me to be seen?
We work hard to see all emergencies as promptly as possible. During office hours, all emergencies will be seen the same day.
I have read about digital X-rays and also traditional X-rays. What type of X-rays do you use?
All of our X-rays are digital. Digital X-rays emit about 70 to 80% less radiation than traditional X-rays. Digital X-rays also have much better diagnostic quality, which allows us to see any problems much more clearly.
Do you sterilize your equipment and dental instruments?
We use the highest quality, cutting-edge sterilization techniques to ensure the safety of all of our patients. Anything that is used in a patient’s mouth has been sterilized.
